Xrays have always been an important tool and provide our doctors with a huge amount of information in the diagnosis of illness. These images show comparative densities and shapes of
internal structures which help our veterinarians evaluate bones, internal cavities and organs.
Laboratory testing is another important tool for our doctors, providing critical information in the diagnosis and management of ill and injured patients. Lab tests carried out daily include
urinalysis, urine cultures, heartworm tests, canine lyme tests, feline leukemia and feline immune deficiency virus tests. Cytology of ear swabs, feces, skin scrapings, and fine needle
aspirates of growths can all be processed and evaluated immediately. Complete blood counts, chemistry profiles, electrolytes, histopathology and biopsy of abnormal tissue are all available.
